¡Adelante! America Program

LULAC and Verizon have partnered together to bring the ¡Adelante! America program to Hispanic communities across the nation. This program creates a nurturing peer-supported environment for Hispanic middle school and high school-age students and encourages at-risk youth to stay in school, graduate on time, and develop their leadership and critical thinking skills. Students participating in the ¡Adelante! America program know they are part of a group of overachieving, specially selected individuals whose diverse talents and leadership skills are being developed and nurtured, thereby avoiding the stigma associated with “remedial” programs.
